TIME AFTER TIME

I like the phrase "time after time".

Maybe you have heard a song "Time After Time" written by Cindi Lauper.
I always shed tears when I listen the song.
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you
I'll be waiting
Time after time

I have a suitcase of memories, too.

I saw a woman where my accostomed cafe.
Maybe she was a dancer when she's young.
She put a lot of her pic on the table.
And she was lost in thought while she looked the pic.
She looked so sad.

I don't want to be like the woman.

I always want to walk so fast.
Like a woman was described the song "Time after Time".

I love that song :) nostalgia sometimes is not that great, cause painful feelings come back sometimes because you remember bad things associated with the good memories. I wish sometimes I could forget the bad memories but then I realize it just makes the good memories even better :D sorry if I sound dumb ^_^;;

That's a sad story!

I never want to live in the past, but I often do. I find myself lost in nostalgia far too often.

I need to learn how to live in the present and keep moving forward.

There's always time for looking back and longing for the past, but... What's the point of living like that? You just won't be like her. You just won't give up your creativity, you will always make us dream with your art, you'll see.

Be well

We have an English idiom. It says, "Penny for your thoughts." The phrase offers another person a chance to talk about what is troubling them.

I wonder if anyone has offered this woman a penny?

I love that song too...
I feel a little nostalgic when I listen that song...
I like to imaginate the history of the peoples that I meet in the places... Would be great if we just know that this persons are thinking or feeling!!!
And learning something with this person's historys...

"Time after time"...this phrase could be good but at the same time very sad, depends on what is the phrase after.

But is there any real "Time after time" in the world? Nothing is forever. Even the sun would burn out someday.

I'm not a big fan of Cyndi Lauper, but I like that music. It's a little sad, in my opinion. ^^

Cindy Lauper... classic song. Actually I find this song very positive. We all fall into the darkness at one point or other; however the song emphasizes being with your partner and helping each other, struggling to move forward toward brighter path. The lyrics state "let's take it (life) slow, but if you feel you're lost, I'am always beside you". This song is sooo lovely....

You will keep rolling, and get worn down...
But that means we can find your pieces.

You will get new bumps a lot!
I'm fond of your line.

Sorry, my English is poor...
