Thanks for leaving comments!

I'm glad to talk with you about fairy tales whole the world.

I recommend a web site for you, below.

A web site of Japanese old fairy tales

I think "Little blue and Little yellow" (written by Leo Lionni) is the best.
Please try the book, if you have not read it yet.

Thanks for posting a website about Japanese stories! Now I can learn more about Japanese culture! I immediately saved it as a favourite. Even Japanese kana and kanji versions are available. Btw: the story about Little Blue and Little Yellow is cute.

Hello! This is my first time leaving a comment, and I'd just like to express my gratitude because your music is so inspiring. :)

I love fairy tales too. You might want to try Hans Christian Andersen's works. He's famous for the Little Mermaid, Thumbelina, etc., but he's got tons of other stuff that are worth reading. Snow Queen is one of my favorites, but the one that really gives me goosebumps is Aunty Toothache. He wrote it before he died, and it tells us his own views about his art... it's not a very positive one, but for me, it holds a powerful truth in it. Here's a link:
http://www.portitude.org/literature/andersen/ft-aunty_toothache.php

Someday I want to be able to read Japanese mythology in Japanese too... I really want to read the Onmyouji novels, but my current language skills are too poor for such. :( もっと頑張らなきゃ。 o(>_<)o

I don't know too much about Fairy Tales but... do you like mangas? If so, I recommend Ludwig Kakumei (I think it is also called "Ludwig Revolution"). It's from a mangaka called Kaori Yuki, and it's a bloody story. But it uses all the most famous fairy tales, in a sort of dark way. The first chapter, which I read some time ago, it's about a very sinister version of the White Snow. ^__^

But if you don't like anything with blood and little-violence, I recommend the manga Sunadokei. ^___^"
Hugs! ~

I grew up reading fairy tales, mostly the Grimm Brothers and Hans Christin Anderson. Oscar Wilde wrote some pretty well-known fairy tales as well. My favourites were "The Happy Prince" and "The Selfish Giant". They're quite sad so have a tissue ready.
By the way, I was thrilled to see you had an English website. I love your music! May the road rise up to meet you.

Well I'm brazillian, so I grew up listening history from my country.. We have lots of "fairy tales", but I think the most famous writer is Monteiro Lobato (about him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monteiro_Lobato) but I don't now were to find english versions of his boos.. =/

PS.: your brazillian fans are waiting your new songs ^^

Hi! I'm brazilian fan like the previous person, and so I also grew up with brazilian tales. Anyway, I really love reading japanese stories, and I've even tried reading them in japanese... but never having japanese lessons makes it difficult. I really like reading, so I wish to be able to speak japanese properly someday and read all of "Kino no Tabi" light novels I love so much. I actually saw the anime based on the light novels (written by Keiichi Sigsawa), and they're mostly about things and people this girl (Kino) meets while being a traveller. It's very very interesting and makes you think about the world and your own existence. Highly recommended if you like that kind of story!

P.S.: Thank you so much for that site! It's so rare to find good english translations to those stories. I'll surely read them all.
Also, you have a very good english!
Keep on blogging!

Thanks a lot for sharing these Japanese stories with us!
I also like fairy tales a lot and when I was a child my parents bought me a lot of fairy tale books. I still have them and sometimes I read them again and again and again.

I think Japanese fairy tales are a bit different from the stories I know here in Germany. But that's why I like them very much. For people like me who don't have a chance to have a look in Japanese cultur it's a great chance.

So thanks a lot! :D

Wow
You're my favortite j-music artist in the whole wide world, but guess I spaced out...

I only found out today that you changed your stage name and that you've released more songs 6.6'

It's really wonderful that you have this blog! It feels like we can get closer to the people we admire (and I say this from half around the world XD).

Back when I couldn't find out your name, I'd finish Fatal Frame 2 over and over and over again just to hear "Chou". Ever since, I've started learning Japanese so that I can understand more j-music (it's annoying to depend on translators ¬¬').

I swear that if I ever go to Japan, I'm not leaving 'till I go to one of your concerts! So you'd better NOT RETIRE!!!

Please keep up the great work <3
